I ask how individual cells coordinate their developmental programs to build a resilient plant, and how they adjust when the environment changes. Combining single-cell and spatial genomics, 3D and 4D imaging, and genetic perturbation with computational models grounded in biology, I build digital twins of developing organs that make development predictable and programmable.
